It's an excuse for Israel to continue doing what she is doing. It has been part of the land grab from the beginning, as is the 'Poor Israel, she has such bad neighbours, those terrible Arabs,' narrative. It is a tale; Israel's wars have been wars of aggression and occupation from the beginning.

I supported Zionism at the beginning. I don't, now, and haven't for some time. Why? Because, if the land division had been equal, if the greater part of Palestine had been given to the more populous nation, and if both had been given equal access to the resources, this would not have happened the way it has played out. The European Jewish problem was exported, and the Palestinians were given short shrift.

Since the six day war, Israel has been on a path of aggression and genocide....and for a people with the history that we have, this is a massive betrayal of principles.

It's time to teach the real history of Israel, not the lovely little myth, and it is time that Israel was forced to treat all people as equal, all the time, not just when it suits the narrative.
