Emotion isn't the new Devil that makes you do things; you don't do something you don't intend to do. Saying otherwise is just another way of avoiding responsibility. He meant to call the ball boy a faggot and nothing but his own self made him do it. The league needs to come down hard on both the player and the team, because all Houston and Clark are trying to do is cover their ass. They aren't sorry for attacking a person or even their fans, considering many of them might be gay (I'm gay myself, I'm not making a witty comment about Houston's fans).

Clark tweeted the LGBT soccer site Gay4Soccer apologizing for the incident and asking to be considered an LGBT soccer ally. You can read the post here. He's simply in spin mode. Sure he'd love for the LGBT community to consider him an ally; but he doesn't already consider himself one. And we know why, after what he did to the kid.

Hopefully there can be some good coming out of his. But I won't hold my breath.
