The idea of a "Maslow Window" is that Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs applies not just to individuals but also to society as a whole.

A Maslow Window is a period when economic and social conditions enable society to become self-actualizing.

Back in 1996, Bruce Cordell predicted the next Maslow Window would start around 2015 and end around 2025.
