Very sorry I never knew him; he died when I was a baby.

He ran a deli (NYC,) and everyone helped; could see what they learned from him whenever we were together, most had particular favorites. Dad hated pickles, 'cause he recalls having to reach into the pickle barrel to retrieve one for a customer when he (Dad) was dressed for a date!
