(111,259 posts)7. I've got some pretty nasty diseases going on which could be treated
by the new biologicals like Humira and Remicade. I listen to the list of possible side effects and say forget it. The same goes for Lyrica and Cymbalta, which they're prescribing for fibro. The old SSRIs did nothing for me and I doubt these would, either, besides, that list of side effects is daunting.
I just wonder if there are others out there like me who listen to the list of catastrophes that have befallen people who have taken it in large clinical trials and say to hell with it.
Direct advertising to people who can't self prescribe might be producing a backlash. It's high time. The decision to allow it was the stupidest advertising decision, ever.

I got insomnia when I was put on Buspar for anxiety. It not only didn't help
