(58,162 posts)11. i used to be member of the nra until they went on the political caimpaign
the magazine used to have articles about hunting and conservation. my father in law was a hunter,trapper,fisherman and a life member of the nra. as soon as they started defending ak`s and other military weapons for hunting he quit the nra. he had a shotgun for deer and a 17mm for varmints. he figured no one needed a ak to hunt with.
