I see it in my own extended family, among whom are uninsured libertarians. They told me that if you register with ACA, the federal government can confiscate your driver's license if you don't then enroll in a plan. They swear up and down it's true, even though I keep pointing out the federal government doesn't have anything to do with your driver's license.
There's no convincing them because they go on too many rightwing websites, where they keep getting the same fake information.
I send them to Snopes.com, but they tell me Snopes is a lying liberal site.
