THAT'S when he should have started investigating and firing people, not a month later. That's what an innocent, honest man would have done. And that's what's going to do him in.
Governor Soprano planned it so thoroughly, the air pollution monitors near the bridge didn't work for two and a half days because the readings would have been so high he would have been compelled to order the lanes reopened. And right on cue, he attempts to make his chief of staff the state attorney general, which would effectively torpedo any state-level investigation. He's the only person who had enough power to coordinate everything. And with his track record of bullying and micromanaging, his "innocent babe in the woods" act is downright insulting.
The evidence in this case is that there is no evidence.
