(58,724 posts)62. It makes perfect sense for Iran to renounce its program
Doing so would end any threat of a US and/or Israeli attack and it would cause the economic sanctions on them imposed by much of the international community to be lifted.
It would be a win/win.

Makes sense, US did at least partially in Afghanistan and Iraq but not Saudi Arabia. nt
