Unless "new environmentally friendly technologies" includes increased automation and robotics on the production line.

Here in Arizona Intel is set to open it's new $5 billion, that's billion with a b, dollar Fab 42 the "most advanced high-volume semi-conductor factory in the world,". It's the site President Obama visited last summer when Brewer poked her finger in his face.

Anyway, there was rampant speculation about the number of "permanent high paying tech jobs" it would produce. Turns out do to increased efficiency and automation, it will be a fraction of what was thought.
