6. They fund R&D as defined by the predatory capitalist US healthcare system

Unique to us and by design. No discounts for the ones who originally footed the bill either - because thats not how the system works.

The funders of the research (US taxpayers) also pay exponentially more for the end product because of the baked in incentives - the layers of benefits managers and insurance companies, and PhRMA lobbyists, and CEOs with shareholders to keep happy - all clamoring for tax breaks and US tax dollar investments to start the process all over again.

Then when they have a breakthrough, it gets 'shared with' (sold across) the globe. Because we have trained them that in the US, healthcare is only another commodity.

Yay end stage capitalism.
