Taxpayers are on the hook because Wal-Mart doesn't pay their workers a living wage or provide basic benefits such as health insurance. This at a time when the company is reporting record profits.

This is what is wrong with American capitalism. It is all about the owners and no sense of common purpose. If the owners are rich and happy then screw everyone else.
