basically suggesting that if it wasn't for the Repub immigration stance, Latinos would vote Republican. That's just not true from any Latinos I know. They are not one issue voters, and they do not feel they voted against most of their values while voting for Obama. They do not seem to feel that immigration alone moved them to either change from their previous Repub voting or continue their regular Dem voting. They also do not seem to feel they would flock Repub if the Repubs embraced the Dream Act and reformed immigration laws.

At least not the few I seem to know nor do I think Latinos are stupid enough individually or as a group to vote based on one issue alone and risk voting against their ideals in multiple other issues. Additionally any informed Latino knows that Obama has outdone himself in deporting illegal Latinos, though he did install parts of the Dream Act. A little plus, a lot of minus. Latinos voted for Obama because he was the best choice for their lives, livelihoods, families, and values. Not just because of "immigration" on which the President doesn't actually score all that well.

Okay, I hate to point this out, but when "our" pundits treat Latinos as one issue voters, Lionessa Nov 2012 #2
Huh? Dems and more liberal leaning pundits are not treating Latinos as single-issue voters. Politicub Nov 2012 #5
