18. I have been using Spectracide granules, but also have Mole problem

There are so many fire ants in Florida, it is impossible to make yard ant-proof. Pest control can spray and hold off ants for a season, but they will invade the next season.
When I see a mound pop up, I sprinkle Spectracide granules and slowlypour a jug of water so the granules and mound of dirt flatten out, and that colony is gone. But of course next mound appears at other spot.

I hate moles more than ants because they destroy the lawn by making tunnels and excavate lots of dirt to construct the tunnel. I mix a gallon of water, 1/2 teaspoon of Dawn liquid, and 1 table spoon of castor oil. Pour it down the mole opening, and they do not reappear at that location for several moons.

Glad to hear it at140 Apr 2022 #1
