If all of those places were in one area, then you could see calls to split into two areas, and if that didn't work, possible civil war.

But we aren't. Our blue places have red, our red places have blue.

Even within those places there are blue and red places.

It would not be civil war, it would be anarchy.

Now, is an increase in violence a real possibility? Of Course. But that's not civil war.
