12. True there as been little to no real effort by the Democrats in office to control defense spending

better and bring it down to a reasonable level.
What we need to do though is give them a gentle nudge to finally take the plunge and do it and one way they could do it is via pushing that they are the true party that is interested in controlling the federal budget better rather than the Republicans who like to waste taxpayer money.
