Once again the spin by the media is that this was an effort on his behalf of showing concern.

He doesn't give a shit about ANYTHING except what is good for his re-election.

Do you notice how he is looking STRAIGHT AT THE CAMERA? He's thinking, "DAMN! This will look good in a campaign ad".
