This is a stunt. DAs, prosecutors, Attorneys General have been ducking accountability for decades by invoking a grand jury. They do this to avoid any responsibility for bringing charges. " It wasn't me..."

Kamala Harris used this trick for many years. White officer observed in brutal violence, kills some unarmed black person, so Harris invoked a grand jury---knowing full well that the grand jury would be drawn from a 90% suburban white pool. Which routinely dismissed the case. 100% predictable, and Harris knew it. Harris is no friend of justice reform.

The police unions and FOP love this system. In 35 years, Harris never brought charges against a single LEO documented in misconduct.

There will never be police reform until DA and prosecutor reform. The ACLU is leading on this.
