Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell fractures shoulder after falling at his Kentucky home, his office says By Washington Post Staff August 4 at 2:46 PM CT The Kentucky Republican tripped on his patio Sunday and was treated and released. He is working from home in Louisville, his office said in a statement Sunday. McConnell, 77, is seeking a seventh term next year.
