1. My cousin had similar distate for "foreign" names.

He ranted on and on about a NJ newspaper columnist named Pasquale, an Italian name. With the dual mission of helping him be foolish and being a convenient foil, I asked him, what name he thought that Pasquale should use instead. He blurted out, "I don't know . . . an American name, something like Patrick!" I just let that lay there. Like picking up mercury with your fingers.
