(170 posts)The FIRST thing I noticed when i started smoking E-cigs was how much better my lungs felt after a few days.
The next thing was i could "hide" my vaping if I held it in my lungs long enough.
I was never a heavy smoker to begin with but the stress of IT work is pretty significant.
I rarely needed a WHOLE cigarette, and I often found that the occasional puff puff here and a puff puff there would satisfy me for the most part.
Sadly I never got enough of a hit from E-cigs and would still smoke regular cigarettes but much less frequently.
I quite around the 5 year mark when I had a really nasty lung infection. After being sick for nearly a month straight there was no nicotine left in my system and I decided it really wasn't worth it to restart.
I've had the odd cig here n there when life gets just TOO DAMNED STRESSFUL, and don't tell me to take yoga! I'm from the Bay Area I can give courses on yoga and all that crap! I work in IT! I deal with ignorant morons on a daily basis (actually my current job is beyond awesome) so you can take your passive aggressive BS somewhere else.
People smoke because of stress, and we are stressing out kids now a days like never before. They are expected to perform higher than we did, with 1/100 the resources we had as kids, it's no wonder they're lighting up!
two final notes...
1 - i'd rather kids puff vape than smoke
2 - i know several people who vape with 0% nic because they like the sensation and taste but don't want to actually smoke.
