http://www.politicususa.com/2017/09/27/michelle-obama-drops-blunt-truth-women-voted-hillary-clinton.htmlFormer First Lady Michelle Obama told the audience at the INBOUND conference that any woman who voted against Hillary Clinton voted against their own voice....
Looking at how this administration played out, the former first ladys message could be expanded beyond women to include immigrants, persons with disabilities, Hispanics, or anyone who is not a conservative white male. Too many voters were suckered into the media narrative that Trump and Clinton were equally bad when even the most casual common sense examination of the two candidates revealed this not to be true.
Hillary Clinton using a private email server was never equal to Trump bragging about sexually assaulting women. Trumps refusal to release his medical records and tax returns were not the same as the Benghazi conspiracy theory. The media falsely equated them and in the process depressed voter turnout and caused people to tune out on the election.
Michelle Obama was correct. Women and all others who bought the lies that Trump and the Republicans were selling did vote against their own voices. The sense that everything will be fine no matter what that voters felt during the Obama years has been shattered. Donald Trump is the consequence for voting against your own self-interest, or not getting involved.
Something tells me that millions of Americans wont make the same mistake again in 2018 and 2020.

Even worse, many voters were so determined to stick it to black people, and/or liberals,

Most don't care. A solid 45% of women vote for paternalistic conservatives, culture, religion, etc.

Agreed. For fundamentalist women, religion trumps all and causes them to do and think

She's right. And brave to speak out. But many women are passive and buy into the patriarchal society

I think so, too. I fully expect to drive their own cars. I drive mine, you drive yours.

Many women can not abide men who struggle when someone else drives. They have a difficult time
