for the fourth statewide computer, electronics and tech recycling website my colleague and I have created to help people find resources in their local areas. Completely non-commercial sites. we already have them in Minnesota, Wisconsin and California. The latest one is for Illinois.

Each site includes a page on repurposing and shifting working equipment to other uses. We use an interactive, map-based listing method that lets residents find their closest recycling organization or business. We create things during slow periods, just to do them. Completely non-profit, although we do have a donation page on each site. Those haven't produced many results, but traffic is high on the sites, since they're done with the best SEO we can manage. If there are donations, we'll use them for hosting costs. Here's a link to the Wisconsin site:
