for the fourth statewide computer, electronics and tech recycling website my colleague and I have created to help people find resources in their local areas. Completely non-commercial sites. we already have them in Minnesota, Wisconsin and California. The latest one is for Illinois.

Each site includes a page on repurposing and shifting working equipment to other uses. We use an interactive, map-based listing method that lets residents find their closest recycling organization or business. We create things during slow periods, just to do them. Completely non-profit, although we do have a donation page on each site. Those haven't produced many results, but traffic is high on the sites, since they're done with the best SEO we can manage.
