Or are hunting for food where they donate the meat. Age shouldn't have anything to do with that.
But, yea, I agree, slaughtering giraffe and bear is gross---at any age.

I've raised baby chicks, piglets and calves from birth to slaughter. They were alive at one point

Sometimes they are killed for crop/livestock destruction. Can you believe that?
