(16 posts)31. They are saying its because of deflation.
Gas prices came down so much, it caused a decrease in the CPI basket.
I understand gas is cheaper, but when rent, food, medicine and medical costs are increasing, i don't understand the math they use which shows we are suffering through deflation instead of inflation.

Well since the gov. reports inflation to be near 0, there shouldn't be an increase.
