It's a "racially charged shooting" not because any evidence in the case indicates that, or because any history of the individuals involved indicates that, but solely because people are calling it such.

If I say enough times that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, then it must be so, even if there is zero evidence supporting that assertion. Right?

Yet another completely unjustified police murder of a private citizen? Absolutely. But there is ZERO evidence that the shooting was racially charged except for the fact that the 2 main individuals involved had different skin hues.

Have we really now decided that in any case, the fact that people of different races were involved is the sole determiner of whether race played a role?
