(8,200 posts)I believe that as much as I admire Senator Sanders that he could not get the nomination and certainly could not win a national election for presidency. He is totally committed to socialistic principles and will not compromise his unwavering support of the working class. I think that the bias of the MSM would paint him as a wild eyed communist. I can just imagine what the right wing fanatics would do when you consider what the Swift Boat liars did to Kerry.
His greatest asset in running for the nomination would be to force the Democrats to realign themselves with the working class and their struggle against the oligarchs who, with the support of ignoramus fundamentalists, are threating to destroy what remains of the middle class. It will take someone like Sanders to bring the stupid working class Republicans to realize they have allowed their racial hatred to commit to eventual economic suicide.
I associate with a lot of working class Republicans and even when their job has been outsourced or disappeared in the endless mergers they are unable to grasp the fact that their support for the Republican oligarchs has reduced them to a desperate state of poverty and working for minimal wages. They are so damn brainwashed that the actually blame their situation on Obama. I have very little problem grasping what took place in Germany bringing Hitler to power when I see my fellow Americans swallowing the propaganda spread by the likes of FOX and hundreds of radio outlets.
