5. Columbus, Ohio isn't the only one.

In Miss., we have a Columbus and a Columbia. There would be cities, counties, streets, squares, schools, and other places that would have to be renamed. In retrospect, it's unfortunate that all these places have been named for such a man as he was, and I don't care if people do change the names of some of those places, but I don't fault people for not changing them, either. Sooner or later, we have to face the fact that all past wrongs from history cannot be righted, and there are places named for bad people just about everywhere you go.
