Should Columbus, Ohio be renamed, now that Columbus is considered to be a genocidal maniac? [View all]

Many streets and squares in Germany were named after Hitler, but needless to say, all have subsequently been renamed. Now that many consider Christopher Columbus to be little better than Hitler, one may question whether it is inappropriate to have a major city named after him.
