That doesn't sound like racism alone - that sounds like corrupt cops trying to hide their involvement in a crime and using implied racism as a red herring AFTER the murder was exposed.

And all those burglaries?

Try this on for size: a Frank Taffe / George Zimmerman / Sanford Police Burglary Ring.

There have been other police burglary rings. There's the infamous Chicago North Side police burglary ring:

Poor Trayvon may have been at the wrong place at the wrong time and George THOUGHT Trayvon saw things he didn't.

I hope the FBI is at least exploring this possibility.

I accept Solomon's objections to the tone of my original post and I added the "alone" qualifier. But I will stand by my gut feeling that racism alone doesn't fully explain the Sanford Police's actions. I sense desparation.
