(16,191 posts)42. I drive 20 miles to the station and then spend 45 minutes on a train.
Yeah, my commute kinda sucks, but I usually only have to do it two days a week. The other three, my commute is seven steps from my bedroom to my home office. My employer lets us telecommute whenever we don't have meetings or clients coming in.

back when i did have to commute, public transportation was available, but not feasible.

LOVE my Prius C at 46-50 mpg and zippy car. Metro line too far away and it's 10 miles to office.
