I don't have anything against hunting if the animals are treated with respect, not at all endangered, and consumed as food. Humans are omnivores. I tend more to the vegetarian side, mostly because I don't like factory farming. When I was a kid most of the meat on our dinner table was fish my dad caught, animals relatives had hunted, and farm animals that had lived fairly decent lives. My grandparents were all children of the "Wild West."
I haven't been hunting since I was a kid but I do fish occasionally as a social activity with family.
There are too many people on earth now for everyone to hunt so I'll leave that to the people who are most enthusiastic about it, follow the rules, buy the licenses, and have a very keen interest in protecting the wilderness so their relatives seven generations on down can enjoy the earth we enjoy.
