That's the hook. Ignore the daily cynicism of the WH that Russia and Syria will come through

. . .ignore their insistence on the primacy of military strikes and the President's declarations since the beginning that he has the authority to initiate attacks without pre-approval.

Ignore the President's utter rejection of his plan for military strikes from Congress

Ignore the obvious obstacles and contradictions in these public embraces of the Russian plan . . .

Present all of that administration-generated maneuvering as the end-all to diplomacy with Syria and attack ME for expressing many of the same doubts the administration has openly expressed almost EVERY DAY of this showdown to claim that I must hate diplomacy.

No, Prosense, I don't hate diplomacy, I hate the pantomime of diplomacy that's unfolding before us, because, I recognize it as a pretext and a slippery slope to justifying military attacks on Syria.

...spinning perpetual complaining. You posted numerous threads denouncing the threat of force and calling for diplomacy. You are now dismissing diplomacy and advocating that it'll all work itself out.

Assad launched a chemical attack. He has the arsenal to do it again. There is a diplomatic process now ongoing to negotiate securing that stockpile.

Odd to see some who still think all this happened in a vacuum. blm Sep 2013 #1
