of the companies that profited off the Vietnam war, and so many other things going on.

Now even with the net, the information is less available, hiding behind paywalls, member only or professional privileges. But it underlies what we see in real life and government, since they organize and then show up to promote their interests.

Which is what those who want change would be smart to emulate by organizing locally and proving their electoral clout to representatives.

That is what government 'by, of and for the people' really is. Not just howling for a brief season and leaving. Because those other groups are at it every single day.
