You should have stopped it by phoning your Congressional Representative! You should have written President Obama and begged him not to sign it! It's YOUR fault this happened because you weren't supportive enough! You should have clapped harder.
For the record: my Rep is John Lewis. He doesn't need me to call his office to tell him to oppose shit like this. He knows. On the other hand, if he agrees to something horrible, it's only after a bunch of armtwisting and it was going to pass anyway.
