And those "things" hanging down from the backpack look like random straps that are on any "military" bag bought at any px, mcx or nex. The military LOVES straps on their bags. They could be talking on the phones and then listening to ipods. Honestly, if you were going to plant bombs would you wear MARPAT pants and make yourself stand out?

On second look, those might just be regular tan pants.
