7. And I recently came across another one with a Conan O'Brien "quote"

Where he supposedly "said": "Have you heard about McDonald's' new Obama Value Meal? Order anything you like and the guy behind you has to pay for it."

I watch Conan every night and I've never heard him give a joke even remotely similar to that.

This Snopes discussion clearly indicates this and other jokes were falsely attributed to O'Brien and other comics:

(I mean, Jimmy Kimmel making birther jokes? Seriously?)

The sad thing is--and someone on Snopes even pointed this out--even the jokes attributed to Jay Leno were too lame to believe as authentic, and Leno's the most likely to appeal to a right of center base out of all of them.
