I don't have stats on it, but I believe many of the mass shooters of recent years were on some form of antidepressant. It's possible that untreated depression may result in only a suicide, but depression treated with these drugs may encourage the patient to take out others as well.
I also agree that the NICS system needs to be enhance with better mental health reporting.
