The extremes are very telling. It's the Rush crowd that that thinks every time it rains or snows it's proof there is no warming. The extremes as I have read it are part of the systematic disruption. Being warmer at the polls push "relatively" colder air south. We are so removed from the time scale that causes these changes that it really takes a lot of science to see the whole picture. All we see are the ricochet effects of that change.
