NRA talking points. Yes, having an "A" rating from the NRA is like an endorsement by the RNC, Fox News, and the KKK all rolled up into one. No, we don't need NRA endorsements to win elections, and we proved that when President Obama was elected for a second term.

Your, and the NRA's threats that we Democrats will lose votes if we back gun control measures is absolute bullshit, and is about the only thing that gun fetishists have left. Most gun owners are sane, responsible, and reasonable Americans, and are NOT a part of the problem. It is gun hoarders, gun shows hawking all kinds of military-looking weapons for wannabe soldiers to play with, and the NRA and its corporate sponsors spewing lies and disinformation for fun and profit who are the problem.

This reminds me of the "they're gonna put fluoride in our water" craze that NRA and Libertarian types ran around with their hair on fire about, until nothing actually changed, and we didn't all die from fluoride poisoning. When you and the NRA start crying before you're hurt, it's a sign that you're either extremely paranoid, or way too attached to a killing machine.

One last time: No one is going to take away your fucking gun. It may be regulated and you may have to register it, but you can still kiss it and stroke it as long as you want.
