what easier way for law enforcement to keep track of gun sellers? Secondly, those gun dealers who have gone through the hassle and cost of getting a license take a dim view of those that sell illegally - they will drop a dime on them in a heartbeat.

And finally, many gun shows simply restrict themselves to licensed dealers.
