Most teenagers are not psychos, but they do need some freedoms as they grow older. Working out agreements with teenagers as to what is expected of them is difficult, but it is something that the best parents I have seen managed. The girls should have had internet access with limits placed on what they could visit. Plus, when computers are set up access levels can for specific content can be set up and locked with a password.
