IIRC, naturalization can be revoked only on a showing that it was obtained fraudulently. For example, some Germans lost their U.S. citizenship when it was established that they had concealed their roles as concentration camp guards.

Murdoch committed no fraud. At the time he was naturalized, it was publicly known that he was a right-wing flack and a disgrace to journalism.
