(37,648 posts)This is not true, according to the establishment. Seriously, think about it....would a public restaurant REALLY admit outright that they are ready to be sued over race discrimination? Hardly. They'd come up with some other reason. But more likely, they'd be happy to take the money, regardless of who is holding a private affair.
No, a quick Google of the Mulligan guy shows what's what. He's a repetitive suer. He sues for discrimination, instigating events to sue over. He sues for slip and falls, for personal injuries. He has a criminal record for drunkenness and assault. I didn't see where he had won any of his lawsuits. He sues establishments, employers, you name it. No one's too good for a lawsuit by this guy.
This sounds like a setup for yet another lawsuit. It is not believable. And there is apparently no evidence whatsoever of it, except for Mulligan's say-so (and I think there was a pal with him).
