It can be frustrating. Part of the problem is that many of the progressives here aren't actually Democrats; they're members of the Green Party, former Nader followers, or other people who think Obama and the Democrats are only marginally better than the Repubs. If they vote, they tend to vote with the Dems (but not always); but much of the time they're almost as mad at the Dems as they are with the Repubs.

They also somehow think that Obama has dictatorial powers that he just isn't bothering to exercise.
