at least part of my reaction is my own shame for not always fully appreciating what I have and making it fully apparent to those I love how much I need and appreciate them. I read about the victims and their families and I realize how much they had, and lost, I realize how much I have, and I wonder why I let my mind go down so many rabbit holes.
