Some people also don't really understand that in politics you need huge majorities in order to get everything you want. Otherwise-and this happens most of the time-you have to compromise to get even part of what you want. In my personal life I've had to make compromises so I was lucky to understand this at an early age.
And thank you for posting. I enjoy reading your take on things
