he was not selected as Person of the Year. Yet George Bush was when he was re-elected in 2004.

When Newt Gingrich took over as Speaker of the House, he was selected. Yet when Nancy Pelosi became the first female Speaker in the history of the country, she was not selected.

In the past 20 year, when a single person has been selected who is an elected official there have been 4 Republicans choosen and only 2 Democrats. If Time does not pick President Obama, they will have proven themselves to be as unbiased as Fox News.
