In reply to the discussion: Male Judges & Legislators: Using the Bible to Subjugate Women [View all]SamKnause
(13,187 posts)36. At what point in time are people going to have to prove that god exists ???
If we have legislatures that want to govern using the bible, I think they should have to provide facts about the existence of their god.
I don't believe in any gods.
I don't believe the bible or any other religious books.
I don't think our government should be based on an unproven god or any magical book.
As a female I find all religions to be anti-women.
It is 2024 and I am sick of religion having such a heavy influence on everything in the U.S.
It is taboo to question their nonsense.
They are given a free pass as if everything they say or believe is true.
I think religious organizations are free loaders.

THIS BS is what I've heard all my life, and why I am steadfastly opposed to the patriarchy in all occurrences and forms.

It's not just about controlling women, it's about punishing us. They punish us because of their guilt feelings

Honestly, we'd probably be better off if more women, not fewer, were in positions of power.
