SAGINAW TOWNSHIP, MI Last year, she was second in line.
But not this year.
After not getting any of the bargains she hoped for last Black Friday, Ashley Wagner decided to get a head start on Black Friday 2012 and set up camp about 8:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, in front of the Best Buy store at 4460 Bay Road in Saginaw Township.
"Being first in line ensures me I will get what I want," said Wagner, who lives in Thomas Township.
Wagner isn't alone. Deal hunters are camping out in front of Best Buy stores in Fort Meyers, Fla., and Pittsburgh. In El Cajon, Calif., two women set up camp on Wednesday, Nov. 14.
With a generator, a can of Pringles and some Little Debbie snack cakes, Wagner said she's ready for the week ahead. On Thanksgiving Day, Wagner's mom will deliver a hot meal from the Turkey Roost restaurant in Kawkawlin.
